In 2008, a year before Infinite Fabric was cursed upon me by my niece Ke'ala, I had written Schoolyard Heroes. I had even worked with illustrators trying to get Schoolyard Heroes on the books and I would then be a writer. As it goes unfortunately, the work doesn't always get finished by the illustrator and your stuck trying to decide whether starting the process all over again is worth it.
